I thought about making this poll a long time ago, but I hesitated because I can't make up my mind. The debuts from Megadeth and Metallica are really good, but I'm especially fond of the first albums of Anthrax and Slayer. Fistful of Metal is one my favorite albums from them because it's extemely fast, catchy, and energetic, with great songs such as Deathrider and Metal Thrashing Mad. The riffs and solos are great, the drumming is fast, the vocals are insane, and the bass lines are awesome. However, Slayer's Shown No Mercy is also an amazing album... maybe my second favorite from them. All the songs are very catchy and inspired, with amazing riffs and solos. The drumming is a little bland, but the guitar work makes up for any downfalls. uuuuuhhhh... I think I'll vote for Slayer.

Metallica- Kill 'Em All

Slayer- Show No Mercy

Kill'Em All from Metallica!! One of the metal classics! In the three other albums, I classify Show No Mercy from Slayer like a Metal classic too, but I prefer Kill'em All more...

Anthrax Soldiers of Metal great song. I have always and will always look Anthrax over the others. They were the second band I heard growing up.

Kill em all to me gets boring after awhile
Show No mercy imo hade just a few good songs
Killing is my Business... is probably my favorite one has the best guitars, drums, bass and the vocals are ok for that time
Fistful of Metal i'd say had the best drumming of the big 4 debut albums.

This is a difficult one, but I'm gonna have to go with "Show No Mercy". The sound of sped up NWOBHM is just amazing!

"Kill 'Em All" and "Killing Is My Business..." are very close behind though. The only one I wouldn't consider is "Fistful Of Metal" seeing as it has some filler, while the other 3 have none.

While Kill'em All is a founding stone, and Show No Mercy the most aggressive, I still prefer Killing Is My Business for its nasty punk approach. So my vote was for Megadeth

This is such an easy poll! Metallica's Kill 'Em All by far. Second for me would be Slayer's Show No Mercy. I love Anthrax and Megadeth, but I was never big on their debut albums (their second releases are a different story!).

Imo if i were to choose now, i'd choose Anthrax's album, Anthrax is a far more lighten-up band than how ultra-evil and ultra-heavy the other 3 try sounding. not saying Metallica and Megadeth are too serious for me, but Anthrax's punk influences just give this awesome party vibe to the album. plus, they had a FAR better vocalist than all the other 3 guys, Neal Turbin, which unfortunately left the band after.
