Symphonic metallers Hydria have decided to disband after a seven-year career and three full-length records, the last one, Freakshow, released digitally just months ago. The decision was mutual.

Message from the band: "Dear friends and fans, it's been a long journey through these last 7 years in which Hydria has been on the road. We have been through incredible experiences and received a lot of love and support from everyone. It comes to a point where we need to make great changes, leave things and people that we love in order to grow and find something better in the future. We'd like to announce to everyone that, for this reason, Hydria is closing activities today. We decided in a mutual agreement to follow distincts paths and we profoundly thank everyone that has ever trusted and supported the band during all this time. We will keep you all informed about our separate future endeavors. Love, Hydria."
