Colossally heavy sounding doom. With Jaz Coleman-eque vocals (and some nice snarls)




A couple of a nice death metal bands too.




This one in particular has impressed me. Portal-esque death metal

What kind of a name is "Ea"?

How do you pronounce it? Is it same as the "ea" in "leak"

I think it's pronounced more like Princess Leia, although I'm not 100% on that. And I think Ea is purely a studio album project, although I'm also not 100% on that.

I'm not taking any new band recommendations for a while, i need to sit back and indulge/thoroughly inspect, all the bands still sitting half listened to on my ipod.

New Chimp Spanner demo track. Sounds really nice. Subtle, ambient spacey prog. Sure the final mix will sound a bit beefier too.
