Pazdzioch aka the bringer of good Polish sound. Man your country should acknowledge your efforts and rewards you
I'm still hooked on this infectious Odraza release that you shared with us a while ago
As 2014 is fading away, I allow myself to share with you a late 2013 release here that seems to have slipped under the radar of many. Atmospheric Black Metal at its finest.
Something I find rather disturbing and it's so chaotic it's difficult to actually hang on with everything that's going on.. Not my cup of tea but I post it here anyways
Here are two albums, released on the same label, that use jazz influences very heavily. What I found most interesting about contrasting the two, is that Unconscious Collective use improvisation heavily, and tend towards the shapeless side of jazz, while Sans Soleil rely heavily on melodic leads with a bit more of a subtle jazz-tinge. Really interesting stuff, and my preferred of the two would be Sans Soleil
Mausoleum Gate's self-titled album ("Mausoleum Gate") is a nice vintage-sounding (late 70's/early 80's) traditional metal band with a slightly campy Satanic theme (think Hell). Musically it's catchy, well-written and even somewhat humorous - the giggling at the beginning and the random Deep Purple-styled outro stood out especially.
Great sounding sludge doom from Brummie Land. This is their side of the split, being released 2015 on vinyl. Unfortunately they just split up so it'll be their last.
I checked these guys because they are doing UK tour this April and I found their latest album awesome. Quite varied stuff build around Sludge/Doom Metal with a fair amount of Ambient passages.
Liblikas - Mothers' Finest, an EP released in late 2014. It's stoner/sludge/psychedelic metal. I'm not too familiar with that kind of stuff, hence the ambiguous description, but I found it to be quite enjoyable.
Rad and cool modern progressive blackened melodic death metal from 2014. Oh and its also french. Best thing about it is the artwork by Paolo Girardi though. Seriously gorgeous stuff.
