Khaos Legions was a little bit too much cliche for me, I like old school Arch Enemy more than these modern songs which all sound similar somehow.
Amon Amarth composed some epic melodic death metal themes before Surtur Rising, but in Surtur Rising the overall sound is compressed too much and the music is ultra-predictable IMO, I just like two songs there. The lyrics are getting to repeat themselves too.

Overall, good list but actually it would better titled top death metal or something like that
If I were you, I would add some black stuff or extreme progressive stuff to get it to the extreme of different styles in extreme metal.
I would certainly add Bloodbath - Nightmares Made Flesh or Atheist - Unquestionable Presence plus Edge Of Sanity - Crimson.
And maybe Necrophagist - Epitaph.

Well, but this is my view of extreme metal. Mean well I often listen to melodic death and death, but prog death is a little lower than melodic death for me. And about black metal. . . I should add Master Of Disharmony you're right!

Thanks god! Oh, because many users thinked it's only for extreme power, but it's not. Extreme metal( formly I wrote harsh but everyone disagreed) are kinds of metal which are mostly powerful and more stronger than others. Black, death, thrash and etc.;)

I suggest that you remove that "(In MY Opinion)" up there... of course it's your opinion! It's your list!
Anyway, I don't listen to a lot of melodic death metal stuff, some of them just sound all the same to me.
I'm into experimental and avant-garde music more than formulated music and art in general.

I didn't try to mess things up to get in the "quite train" but how much is too much? I really don't know.

That "In MY Opinion" is for people who come and say: Oh! I don't like it! It's no good!
Qoute train isn't bad at all! We're talking about something which is about metal.
