I love Prog Metal, but God now why, even if I know Shadow Gallery I just discovered them with their last album "Room V." And damn what a big kick in my ass, I'm still wondering why this band is so underrated (I don't talk about critically but about renown). But at least if they need an album that will show the listeners how great the band is, I'm sure that "Room V" will help them. We are in front of one of the best progressive release of the year?

This album bored me a lot, an uninspired pop album.
Definitely the next album is better.

I agree, the slow, soft boring tracks outweigh the heavier ones by far.

I did not find this album particularly prominent either -- though not bad or so at all.
But there is one song on this album that I like a lot, might even be my favourite from them: Torn

Great music, that's all I can say. Don't expect any modern tough guy prog here, it's more old school with some early Symphony X, Dream Theater & Queensryche vibes but not a copy at all. The solos are great, one of the best I would say musically.
Personally, I wish the drums would be more heard (e.g. Queensrych Operation Mindcrime or Helloween's Keeper 1) because the drums on this record sound too old school for 2005. (Although both albums I mentioned are 80's records but the drums are killer)
