Not a big fan of bm anymore but Marduk is definately worth checking out! Just a few days ago I popped in Panzer Division and World Funeral and it felt gooooood

Never really liked Marduk, so I am probably going to skip this one and save money for some bigger summer festival abroad.

Who's going for Soilwork? I thought bout it first but then Ivan suggested Antimatter to me...I still consider whether to go or not.....we'll also have Marilyn...one could just see Mary because such a person's a phenomenon but since the ticket's costly and me not interested in the music of his then I think I'll skip that one....

the other day, this guy i know from facebook(call us online buddies?) just flipped and said this to me:
"Ya tebya nenavizhu mraz"

what does that mean? my other russian friend translated most of it saying it means 'i cant stand you...' and then the last word she couldnt translate, as her russian is really rusty...so, what does it mean?

Well the word мразь (mráiz) means...dunno how to translate it correctly...it means a person who's grouse, awful, fucking awful, disgusting etc....not exactly a monster but...well....a jerk I guess....therefore "I hate you, you jerk!"

Thats like some old school russian swearing, last time i've heard something similar was from one old hag

Actually beggars are different.....you meet beggars often near some churches or shopping malls...they're usually elderly women with butter boxes....beggars NEVER come to wave under your nose "Hey! Hey! Gimme gimme gimme!" They say "Thank you(and God bless etc)" if you give them something but they never ever ask anything....for instance I know a young guy who is without legs....he usually is with his wheelchair at one place on the street and stays there silently...I've given him some money couple of times because I know that he's a poor guy and it's a great misfortune of being crippled like he is(he isn't faking)...he's silent...he only opens his mouth to express gratitude....

Or when an old lady asks "Please, I have no money to buy food/I have no money to take a busride to home!" then I've given....they've even said "I'll have your phone number so I can pay you back everything!" And when I've given them something they've blessed me with hundreds of kind words....that's a difference....

Teenage guys who don't look even poor and who take you by your collar and demand "money please!" or in the worst case even give you a punch in the face...or simply guys who lie to your face....that's a different thing...these aren't beggars....

Yeah, we have bunch of those people, mainly Gypsies, and 80% of them could work something if they want, but no, they sit on the streets asking for money, and teach they children to do so, as soon as they can talk... And you may feel sorry for them, give them money, and they go to buy CIGARETS with it... Well, no more money from me...

I didn't know they were doing a reunion gig, until I saw your post. I somehow get the feeling that this reunion gig went by largely unnoticed, due to lack of promotion (or maybe I am just very oblivious towards the world around me, and become aware of the events around me when they're not the events around me anymore, rather the events that could have been around me if I'd noticed them).

The only promotion it received was on HRC and Rada7, so unless you regularly follow these sites events like this one are easy to miss.

Any estonians going to the czech festival Masters Of Rock this summer? I know I sure am.

Would like to, but it isn't the cheapest place to go. I think the best way to go, would be Metal Travel Agency, which takes you there and back with a bus.
I'd love to go to a bigger metal festival this summer. Another option would be Wacken, but this event is even more expensive :/

Czech isn't cheap?

Well, some friends of mine went there last year and they were quite appalled by the overall organizing (loads of trash lying around, insufficient water etc.)

I'm definately gonna hit some festival abroad this summer but haven't decided which yet.

Masters Of Rock is definitely cheap. I was there last year myself too. I saw like 5 of my favorite bands, drank a lot of cheap beer and had a great time overall. So I'm strongly suggesting to pick MOR. The thing about trash ... well, I don't think that every dude from 30000 people will throw their trash into the bin... And whats with the water? The shops sold water... I didn't have any problems with that.

Okay, I believe what you are saying and now think about going to Masters of Rock. Czech could not be far more expensive place than Estonia. And the lineup is really great at the moment. So Czech here I come!

Czech is far more cheaper than Estonia... an average beer costs about 5EEK.
