Duno, I should listen to both of them in a row to tell the difference as they are pretty similar. Maybe this one is a bit more melodic that their debut.

Why haven't I listened to this yet? The one song they released from it ages ago absolute slew.. slayed... pretty much everything on their debut so I'm sure this will do nice things for me.

If you're really asking for an answer I can give it to you. But yeah I heard a couple from their debut and I was "disappointed", although I'm a bit exaggerating, as Gastronomicon was my first contact with them.

I was mostly being rhetorical, but I think this is one of those albums with a weird mental barrier in front of it. Albums I know I want to listen to but just don't and sometimes avoid doing so for months. Sounds like this is shaping up to be an improvement then.

After posting that, I went on and listened to the rest of the debut. There seems to be zero mental barrier for me and this band.

Slugdge is a band that I have been neglecting for awhile. Let me rectify that now.

This album and their debut are unbelievable as home made albums. Some goddamn labels sign with them already.

Holy fuck. Just one song in, but if it keeps up the quality this might be one of my favorite albums of the year...
