A seminal band that released two well-renowned albums in the black metal scene (and a debut that nobody cares about) known as Cobalt. The million dollar question is: Which album is better/is your favorite of the two?

I'd have to go for Gin myself. EoB may be heavier, but Gin is more sophisticated, has a nice Tool vibe to it, and has Hunter S. Thompson in the liner books and Ernest Hemingway on the cover (and the bookworm in me loves that).

Eater of Birds. I never felt the post parts added all that much to Cobalt. Eater was more visceral, caustic and direct and as a result more memorable and in keeping with what I feel Cobalt are about.

Flip a coin. Heads - Gin, Tails - Eater of Birds. Best of 7 gets my vote.
