Undomesticated equines couldn't prevent me from seeing them.

Good boy.

I can't wait to see the other 55 bands.

I don't think Temples has the money of, say Maryland Deathfest, so apart from the other 2 headliners I doubt they'll be as big as the bands mentioned here, but they'll certainly be a good selection of smaller bands, plenty of whom will be well known in underground circles.

If it wasn't during school time I'm almost tempted to book a flight out there. I'm sure the other even smaller bands will appeal to me, at least some anyway, given the current line up.

Well this year will presumably be bigger than last year given there's an extra stage so I'm certain you'll know some, if not most, of the bands announced in the future. The guys running this fest are pros anyway as they arrange all sorts of great gigs in the UK.

Just realised a third stage and 15 or 20 more bands means clashes are inevitable. I rather liked the no-clash set up this year.

Unless they start a few hours earlier this time round (this year started around 2pm each day so very doable)

Oh it started late. So yeah even if they start a little earlier it's still fine. Plenty of time to do stuff in the morning even.

I'll be honest, the late starts were a blessing after hitting the bottle quite hard. Still though, more bands is always good.

That's the thing, it's not a camping festival, I won't be drinking much at all, it doesn't feel as safe. So I'll go do stuff in the morning. If there is any stuff to do in Bristol.

Well there's an out door bar / eating area and another separate hang out seating type bit, all enclosed in the venue. You could stay in there all day in theory.

Oh that's great. I just saw the venue is like three warehouses next to each other and a little space around, all that next to the river. Nice. Do you recall how much they charged for a beer?

Yeah the venue is kind of ugly being on an industrial estate, but there is that river, and the hangout bit is fine.

I don't quite recall as my housemate and I ended up going to an off license 15 - 20 minutes up the road and buying these God-awful saccharine sweet cans of cider for £0.75, which were about 7.5% alcohol. I think pints are probably going to be in the £3.50 - £4.20 range. They promised a better selection this year too.

Haha. The price of the pint is fine. I expected much worse. Being pocket-sized saves a lot of money. Yeah I'm thinking too much about the details, it's a year away, and I'm already excited.

Don't let me say what I'd like him to do.

I'm sure there will be at least one of the bands in my list in the 55 that will be announced. That's better than an headliner for me.

I have NO money to buy anything besides food and stuff to live in my apartment at the moment... I can start getting Uni-money from around September. Do you think the tickets will sold out during the lapse of Sep-Nov (Nov being a worst case scenario for me)?
I think that if I swear off all cds/tshirts/DVDs until the festival and get a job during Xmas time I could easily pull it off. It's not like I have to pay everything at the same time anyways.

But yeah... I'm seriously interested but I can't buy the tickets right now. Must pray Cthulu that they will still be around during the months I mentioned.
That way I could be in both Roadburn and Temples. Shiiiiiieeeeeeeeet. D:
Also, meeting you guys would be the bestest.

BTW Have all 3 of you already bought the tickets? D:

Well if it does get sold out in that time frame I'm also screwed. I don't think it will, though it's hard to say as this line up has piqued a lot of people's interest.

Can't say I blame them with this line up. Shit. I'm not gonna need concerts for a full year if I manage to go to both this and Roadburn. D:

According to their facebook the capacity is only 2000 people. Clearly gonna be sold out early.

I'd buy a ticket right now if I knew where and what I'll be doing in May 2015, but it is not so. In case it gets sold out I hope to get one through resale (if I can go at all).

Crap. Only 2000. Are they raving mad? It's a festival for ants? I could buy the ticket in September but then it's no concerts for me when I go to France during that month.

It's a daily capacity of 2000. I'm not sure if that's a misleading number. I recall Hellfest did something like that, by segregating it by daily capacity though they sold more tickets than that mentioned amount.

It is low indeed. I know that there are like 2500 tickets for Roadburn and that festival runs out of tickets in a matter of days and sometimes just minutes.

Then again it does help out that this festival seems newer. We must keep it secret and stuff. xD
