I'm not impressed. It feels like the song was going nowhere. I'll listen to the full track and album before making my judgement though.

This one's going to be a Last.fm tagging nightmare.

Apart from that, can't say anything negative about it. This one's going to be gooooooooooooood.

    I like it a lot.

More mature, the composition has a lot more space in it/it's way less busy, which gives it all space to breathe. If this is an indicator of the maturity of the rest of the record, it's going to be really damn good.

Some added atmosphere for this one, which seems to be the trend for tech death/prog death bands lately - not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm looking forward to hearing the whole thing!

Like the OP said, it's just a sample. Sounds good but i'm reserving my judgement for after i've heard the whole album

Sounds promising! NeO certainly brings back my old love for the "more is more" approach of progressive metal executed with top-notch musicianship.

Still pop metal, I hear. I'll probably pass on the new album as I did with the last one.

I'm with you on this one, pal. The opening was rather slow and boring for a track that is literally a segment of a 23-minute epic. It sort of picked up steam towards the end, but it's too early to say how this one will turn out. I was a huge fan of the last album so hopefully it will be as good.

I can't say I like them either. Seem kind of pretentious, or something. It comes off like "look how interesting and cool these song titles are".

Kind of underwhelmed by this sample track. I think I know one of the things about this band that annoy me: the clean vocals. They sound pretty poppy to me and not that good at all.

I like this. Listened to it a few times already and it's hard to judge when it's all part of a bigger picture (23-minute song). But I'd say it is promising.

This is the second time I hear this, and I got goosebumps everywhere.. I just can't wait to hear the final album. Don't see the hate for Tim's vocals; maybe he's not the best vocalist in the world, but it fits their music perfectly (IMO). Also I agree with those who says it sounds they've matured. It's a really good sign, as their debut Portal Of I was a 10/10 for me already

Not saying his vocals are bad, but for some reason they annoy me a bit. Can't help it.

The song is not bad. Vocals are good. Instrumental is good. Song is consistent... Still feels like there's something missing though...

The fact that it is only a part of such a long track excites me, extremely fond of the first half of what I've listened.
