Were you to isolate most of the riffs on Elddop, crust probably wouldn't be the first thing that'd come to mind; the technical, dissonant riffing here floats and coils about, practically glittering half the time. It's flashy, often unstable-sounding stuff.

Mature crust punk. The juxtaposition of those two words looks like an oxymoron. But Martydöd just doesn't care about fancy literary devices, they make it work.

Gotta love the amount of heavy metal-inspired shredding and leads. So fucking catchy yet powerful and keeping the crust attitude.
It's less desperate and agressive than the previous one but holy shit it's catchier and more impressive in terms of songwriting and originality.
