Another disappointment.

What were you expecting from them?

I think the closing theme is rather nice, but poorly arranged. Weakest track so far - if the other songs of similar duration are the same then I don't think I'll enjoy this a terrible lot.

Well they managed to write 3 quality albums, yet this is proving the break that streak..

Therapy?

I rather like it, it takes me back to the excellent Isolation Songs. Sure, it's not groundbreaking nor is it very "mentally challenging" or anything but I personally don't mind that at all. I don't even know if I'd want GB to divert from this formula too much. Much like I dig what Insomnium keeps doing. Change too much and there's definitely other people who will hate them for it. In Flames being a prime example, even though I do not belong to the group who hates them.

So far so good.

"The Knife" is a good track, the other 2 tracks aren't impressive!

I think this song is rather beautiful but yes, it is nothing new. Maybe we can just accept that the Ghost Brigade will not change very much. It'll probably be an interesting album in the end.

Their previous albums have groove and melody. This has neither.

Always funny when someone says a melodic band has no melody Electra Complex is more Anathema and less Katatonia, so to say.

In a literal sense, there is melody - it would be ignorant to assume otherwise. However, not all melodies are created equal

What I really like about this song is the fact that you can really nicely hear the deep, stringy sound of the bass guitar. It can be heard in the other songs as well but not as prominently as in this one. It stands out for me because I am a fan of the bassguitar, even though I suck at it myself.
