Aasdgoihasdghexekul is a tricky one to pronounce.

I think one has to pull one's tongue out in order to pronounce it right.

Me too. I doubt it's a "ch" sound as they're French, not Italian

All the obvious ones are taken, so bands are forced to get creative.

The word itself doesn't look very French, therefore I think it's "Alsest"... but "Alkest" sounds more comfortable and logical to me because that's the original sound of letter C in the Latin alphabet... the name looks Latin... might be the case here...

Yep, it's "Al-sest". Or at least that's how I or any other french-speaking metalhead I encountered pronounces it. The letter C can either be pronounced as a "s" or a "k", it really depends on the word...

That's how the band pronounces it and how everyone here pronounced it back in the day. SO that would be your safest bet.

A staff guy...
It is an actual word, and has nothing whatsoever to do with phlegm or lobotomy. Lol.

"The act or practice of opening a vein by incision or puncture to remove blood as a therapeutic treatment. Also called venesection."

Actually heard it used on House M.D. once. It's pronounced exactly as Joe said.
