I made a logo for my "possibly upcoming" ambient project Dereleech.
(A full-sized version here)
The name is combination of the words "derelict" and "leech." I went for a dark and bloody, yet clean feel. The branching thing can represent growth and life in two forms: a tree or blood-vessels.

This was my first project I had to do in my drawing 1 class at Millersville University. It's supposed to look kind of abstract, since we had to paint in only the negative space of the object. I wonder if anyone will figure out what it's supposed to look like.
