Here you can share with your fellow metalstormers your sorrow, your frustration of missing those concerts. Do not forget to tell us why you missed them.
As for me, the last concert I missed was Dream Theater playing at our capital. Why did I miss these Progressive Metal deities? I had no way of getting into San Juan that night so I had to miss it.

Hmmm yeah, it sucks... but for me it's only exams. It's supposed to be the only moment of the week where there are no timetable clashes, so we get week ends fuck up

Last time I had to go to Pain Of Salvation, had a lot of ok I'll go-ok I can't go moments with organizing and shit... in the end I got ill at the very day, had a very hard time getting out of bed, and that day was about to rain cats and dogs in Belgrade with a temperature drop of 20 degrees. Kinda sucks since I'm not ill that often. And afterwards I missed the Iced Earth gig because of my exam. I really really wanted to go.

I miss Asymmetry Festival 5.0 in Wrocław/Poland where played stars like Melvins, Cult Of Luna, Agalloch, Mayhem, Shining (NOR), Amenra and Ufomammut. My budget doesn't allow me to get there, I had some expenses before

I was supposed to see one of my favourite bands last saturday: Insomnium. Why didn't that happen? They had to cancel their show. So disappointing! Have seen them live 2 times and they are awesome.. Just waiting to see them again!

The worst luck I had was skipping Testament because I had the stomach flu and then missing Enslaved the next day because they got stranded in a snowstorm And I probably would've been too sick to go anyways...But everything else is because of school-related shit or just having to save my money

Most of the time I miss the shows because I work 2PM-10:30PM so I miss everything during weekdays. Or if its really far because my car has been acting up. But I miss Suicidal tendencies lately and looks like im going to have miss Black Sabbath in Tampa. Its sad because Ill never get to see Ozzy but its like my dad Said, "You cant make them all".

Agalloch in Umeå, even sek 220 is cheep, but travel and back, but main think I need to went back to my past and place where I was born, to fix some bullshit and it was at time when gig was there and I needet to go, + stay 2 weeks, otherwise one. week was way to expencice I will miss WASP in Kiruna since Blackie broke his leg and one DAD is not worth to go

Missed Katatonia + Opeth last april ... I was having a bad time during those days, depression, anxiety, lost of my job. Hell, I even had the tickets and it was the day after my birthday.  I had seen Opeth previously in 2006 and it was one of the best concert I've had seen. But never had the chance to see Kataonia, missed them once again.

I really wanted to see orphaned land and bilocate when they came to the UK a few weeks ago but transport was a large issue for me as well as finding people to go with. . I'm starting to consider going to gigs and concerts alone.

Protest the Hero/Tesseract/The Safety Fire/Intervals. My friend bailed and I didn't really want to go alone, since I've got plenty of chances to see Tesseract headlining back in England and I really don't like PTH. That, and work.
