Moonsorrow - Release Bonus Track, Rotting Christ Cover

When Pagans from the North pay tribute to Hellenic heathens! Moonsorrow have decided to share one bonus track from their upcoming album, Jumalten Aika, with their fans. It's actually a Rotting Christ cover of their classic track "Non Serviam". Check out their take on this anthem below.

The band commented: "We do not serve. Everyone in Moonsorrow has been a great Rotting Christ fan since the early 90's and with our version of this song we wanted not only to honor the band but also give the credit how much we have been influenced by them throughout our history. With our hails and deepest respect to our brothers in Hellas, we proudly present our interpretation of their creation: Non Serviam."

Rotting Christ frontman Sakis Tolis said: "The Non Serviam dictum is more topical than ever nowadays and we are more than honored, that the Great Finnish Pagan Metal Warriors, Moonsorrow, have honored it and gave their own vision on how our early 90's song can also sound nowadays. We all in the band find their creation amazing and we send our respect to the north. Keep the spirit alive!"

Man, Moonsorrow should make some kind of album covering the top 15 of metal songs. One of the few bands out there who can take a song and really give it their unique spin, whilst still honoring the original.
