Gear is perfectly fine for small incline. I park that way at home for 16 years. And I don't park on steep incline anyway, nobody should unless no other way.

Few bands have left me speechless with their music, even fewer I would ever call perfect, and fewer still where tragedy has struck a promising band such that the music is too much to get through without thinking about the backstory of the band's short lifespan. Trees Of Eternity was certainly something special.
dark, melancholic, atmospheric and strangely uplifting. Aleah sings like an angel, her vocal melodies are memorable. can't help feeling emotional while listening to this.
Having only heard Aleah doing guest vocals with Swallow the Sun and Amorphis before, which was all fantastic, listening to an entire hour of her is an amazing experience. Not that she alone makes this album great, very solid piece of work all round but as this is sadly the last we'll hear of her, it really makes this album special.
Just listen to Eye of the Night, you will understand the hype (deserved) this is getting.
I was going to give it an 8, but the 9 is deserved. RIP Aleah. o7
Heart-shattering. The music that they have written "around" Aleah's vocal tracks is superb and a huge improvement w.r.t. to the demo record. Sad that there won't be a second album. My heart is with Aleah and Juha.
Awesome, melancholic whit mid 90's touch, mournful melodies, vocals, like true mid 90's gothic , to be a metalhead its not enough whit playing riffs, you need be a metal soul. Its like young Liv in mid 90's Stavenger streets, awesome album, feelings, motions, knowing ms probably it wont be nominated to ms awards

I stand whit Ukraine and Israel. They have right to defend own citizens.

I better die, because I never will learn speek english, so I choose dieing
The Eye of Night chorus is dreamy and goosebump inducing. Absolutely adore her voice.
By how much this album has been over rated due to her death is impossible to say, but it's hard to deny that a death inflates a score. It happened with David Bowie's Blackstar, it's happening with this album and it'll continue to happen forever and ever.
Yeah, ok... I'll bite. I can't criticize the album based off the shallow fact that Aleah passed half a year before this album was released. It was her way of expressing emotion during her struggle with cancer. I'm furthest from a doom metal fan as they come, but there's something about knowing Aleah's fate, and listening to this album that just pulls at the heart-strings and makes one question what they would do if they had to count their days until cancer took them. After dozens of spins, this album gets my vote for album of the year.
It may not be "metal" but I can't remember the last time I felt so emotionally invested as when I heard the demo of Sinking Ships. Knowing everything I know of Aleah and her struggles, it's damn near enough to bring a grown man to tears.
This album gets my vote for album of the year... By a mile. I don't even know Aleah past the fact that she sang for Amorphis and Swallow The Sun, but I already miss her.
This album kind of reminds me of the album "Here Comes The Sun" by Klone (which came out last year) in the sense that it is so atmospheric. I loved that record so this one is also right up my alley.
This is the kind of album with which I have a problem of distinguishing each song from each other (at least the first few times you are listening to it). It just feels like one smooth ride when you listen through the album. Now I don't think that's a bad thing in fact it shows how consistent the album is.
Beautiful vocals (sad to hear the singer passed away). And an overall well produced and recorded album.
8.5/10 is what I would give it. It's definitely worth a listen.
The lyrics ughh!! The best I heard in years!! What a ride! Her voice can really get through to your soul, and those lyrics are just so damn perfect!!!!
After few listenings, I give it a 10/10. Totally deserving. Salute to the band, and farewell Aleah!!
This monolithic record is more than album of the year 2016 - over the past 6 months it has become an album of a lifetime for me. An absolute zenith of the genre, really hearkening me back to my roots
I discovered them on my "weekly discovery" playlist in Spotify. I really enjoyed the album, the atmosphere and her voice. last night I looked into their page in wikipedia and found out she's dead. Shame that we'll never hear her voice
