Been listening to Slayer's Decade of Aggression, and Overkill's Wrecking Your Neck and Wrecking Everything live albums, and I've come to the tentative conclusion that Overkill may very well have been able to smoke Slayer on stage at any point in either bands' career, regardless of who had the better songs. I'm curious about anyone else's opinions, especially from those who have seen both live, and especially during either or both bands' primes.

Full disclosure: I've kind of become a fanboy of Overkill's live albums recently, and am beyond stoked that they're coming to my town next year.

Bands that suck: Dream Theater, Dragonforce, Pink Floyd, Pearl Jam, the folk rock half of Led Zeppelin, 99% of thrash metal bands from the turn of the century, Mumford & Sons, any death metal band influenced by Necrophagist.

That is all for now.
