Wintersun - Announce European 'By Request' Shows
Wintersun played their first "by request" shows in Finland last month, where their fans could vote the setlist for each concert. Due to their great reception, the band has now decided to play a couple of select "by request" headline shows outside of their home country in August and November (in Austria, Germany and The Netherlands).
On the upcoming "by request" shows, the band comments: "There's a separate setlist poll for each show and fans planning to attend the shows can vote for any songs from the first three Wintersun albums. To make it work, please follow the instructions below:
- Select the Facebook Event and go to the discussion for the poll.
- Vote only, if you are planning to attend the show.
- Give ONE vote for each song you'd like to hear.
- Give votes to 10 songs maximum."

03.11. NED - Amersfoort - Fluor
04.11. GER - Bochum - Matrix
05.11. GER - Aschaffenburg - Colos-Saal

Then they'll start to build their studio and maybe, maybe, they'll focus on TIme II by, what, 2022? So yeah, at least 16 years after the initial release date.

Now seriously, these guys did a crowdfunding campaign to release that lousy album and now they do these on-demand shows... next thing will be playing in birthday parties. I get it, being a metal musician in Finland is tough but come on! Nowadays any underground band can have a decent home studio.
