even official snow mobile roads are 99% safe, but we ride over all and be in ice its always at your own risk, and mid april is my border when I go on the ice
We have one ice road for cars, in Luleå you can drive car to small islands . To get to the town I need cross 6 lakes, by snow mobile and almost all roads cross some water way. I gass as crazy when I cross rivers or big big lakes
Creedence Clearwater Revival. One of my favourite bands, period, and unquestionalbly one of the greatest American rock bands ever.
The excellent Southern Rock feel is amazing, and cant get enough of it. Each of their albums are very special to me, just because there are some specific songs that stand out and bring back childhood memories. In fact almost all their songs take me back to childhood memories, its just one of those bands that has been with me all my life.
The raspy voice, catch as hell lyrics and unique 'bayou' sound definatly make this band one of my favourites.
Grew up listening to CCR, and I've gotta say, one of the bands whose music seems timeless. The music sounds just as good today as it did 40 years ago. One of my personal favourite bands of all time.
@Bad English: That's an extremely "black and white" comment to make, it's very "one way thinking" of you. That cannot be true, because sometimes there might be a band you like covering a band/artist you don't care for.
@Branzig: Yeah, I mean it's fun I despise COB's newer material these days, but I like how unique the cover is, it's almost like they left their comfort zone......I feel like they truly treated music as an art on that track.
It literally rips me up inside, you can tell that the Man In Black totally related to that tune, and watching the video of him playing with crippled arthritis. It was practically a snuff film.

More of a sampling than a direct cover, but I agree with you. I've never liked Stevie Wonder's material anyway though, so that's not surprising.
As for CCR... I think my mom listened to them when she was younger. I don't think I've ever even bothered with them beyond the one or two songs you hear on the classic rock station on the radio.
