Myrkur - Releasing New EP, Stream New Single

Danish folk band Myrkur (aka Amalie Bruun) has recently announced a new EP and single. For her forthcoming Juniper EP, she's joined forces with Jaime Gomez Arellano (Ghost, Paradise Lost, Sólstafir, Cathedral) at Orgone Studios in Bedfordshire, England. This is the first new material since Myrkur's 2017 sophomore album, Mareridt. Check out the title track below.

A-Side "Juniper" is a powerful ballad that immediately hooks the listener with it's infectious chorus and lush string arrangements while "Bonden og Kragen" is a solo reinterpretation of a traditional Danish folk song from the 1600's. A limited edition 7" will coincide with the digital release. A limited edition of the 7" will coincide with the digital release, December 7th on Relapse Records.

The chorus is massive and sounds cool, the rest of this song is pretty dull, honestly.
