It's a rather weak album and sounds outdated even for 95. The vocals sounds like Dream & Day Unite dream theater and the music is too light and resembles Iron Maiden in the 80's which was cool in the 80's but not really something I would expect from Nocturnal Rites. For Example, Episode by Stratovarius was released around the same period and sound as epic as any new power metal band.

This album clearly shows the transition of the band from death metal to power metal - it sounds somewhat unpolished, and it's heavy (mostly drums) for a power metal album, and actually makes it unique and quite special IMHO.
