Our dear mr. Pyro mentioned them in the underrated/overrated thread, and rightly so I might add.
Having seen them at Dynamo Open Aire in 1988 and a couple of times in clubs I searched for more info on Toxik and Dynamo Open Air since I heard that that conert will be released on dvd later this year, and I cae across the following:
http://video.google.nl/videoplay?docid=2283514221317045636&hl=nl
have fun enjoying it. I am going to watch the crowd closely to see if I can spot myself hahahaha

Awesome, I love their World Circus album a lot !!
MA says : "Toxik have officialy re-united in 2007 with Lou Caldarola replacing Tad Leger who was too busy to join the line-up with other projects as a guitarist."
Yet another band reforming in 2006/2007 !! What's going on this year heh ?

Yep, Toxik, Sabbat, Cynic, Atheist, Immortal, Emperor, Laaz Rockit, all doing reunion gigs.
Toxik will be playing at the Keep It True festival later this year.

I am for sure going to get "World Circus" and "Think This" someday.I found out about the albums a little before they where released, but haven't got around to purchasing them yet. I have heard the songs on their myspace page, they had very well executed solos, and they sounded nice and original.I Would you say they are technical speed/thrash similar to Watchtower,Hexenhaus,Realm and Sabbat.

hehe awesome...I'm glad there's a thread for this band. As of right now, World Circus is my favorite album. Every single track is killer, and I think that Mike Sanders pwnifies most vocalists out there. In the song, False Prophets, I love it when Mike sings "Beeeeewaaaaaaaaare!" in a super high voice. Even though the instrumentation is jaw-dropping, Mike really makes the music come to life. I especially love the slower song on that album (it's still not slow though), Pain and Misery, mostly because of how that guy sings.
About two weeks ago I decided that I should also order Think This, even though a less extreme vocalist was in the band at that time. I should receive it in the mail any day now.

@Marcel - I finally got around to checking out that video you posted. It's a great video man, and the vocals sound exactly like they do on cd. The Black Sabbath cover is fucking sweet...
I finally received Think This in the mail today and it definitely doesn't even come close to World Circus. Yes, it's good, but they lost quite a bit of intensity. The other vocalist isn't as energetic as Mike and it just isn't as much fun. It's still a good album though, mostly due to the frequent guitar solos.

I found out about this band about a week ago, no thanks to Marcel this time, but to my own efforts (Although he's generally good for naming bands to check out )
@ Pyro: Agreed, World Circus is the better of their 2 albums, thought Think This does have its moments. I love the title track the most, the guitar is insane, even for it's time...
Here's to more good thrash like this band

I know the album 'World Circus ' only , surely one of the underrated bands in bay area. Dirty riffs , creepy vocals i like .... some of bands you can always listen to no matter how old the album is , cant put them in them with Morbid Saint and Razor stuff but still some mind blowing gems.

Only now do I see the mistake in your post. They aren't from the Bay Area, but actually from around New York.

Well, if you like something with a bit of melody (which you do judging by your favorite bands), then you gotta love them.
