A Pyrrhic Existence was released on November 8 of last year. It is now January 15. I guess that's how long it takes me to fully digest an Esoteric album.
I'll wave you off at the station. I'll definitely be checking it out, but to me their stuff is good to very good, with MV towering so high above the rest that PoD left me disappointed by comparison.

It took me a while but I think I managed to completely separate MV from all the other Esoteric albums. mV was done by "Esoteric++" haha. Got a different mood for a different ocasion with PoD.

Can't remember ever being this excited for and this satisfied with an album.
Descent and Culmination sounded familiar so I guess those were the songs they played live that I didn't recognize the last 2 times. I hope to hear them live again soon...
What a funeral doom blast, music for cold winter night and whisky, sad I cant sit on balcony and smoke a cigarr. It would fitts, one rare metal genre what actually are made to listen music in spexcial mood, no moshipt, no jumping, its melanholic album

I better die, because I never will learn speek english, so I choose dieing
This is exactly how I feel, I was quite hyped about this album that I was afraid it could be bad, but oh my, it's stupid good as only Esoteric can be.
To be honest, I'm such a massive fanboy at this point that I never doubted they would deliver. Still feels great that they actually did though.
On another note, this comment on the Youtube full album stream cracked me the fuck up:
Quote: The bad logo and album cover are real vanilla Tim Burton looking, the music is really generic and sounds like slowed down alternative rock but with sort of death metal vocals, mainstream metal sucks so bad hahaha
This album is a goddamn monolith, but I think I prefer the softer more psychedelic parts to the heavy. There's a lot more variety in this album than I expected, and that made it go by quickly for a near 2 hour album, which is plus for me since I rarely listen to anything over an hour.

This is my second favorite album of theirs. Really enjoying it, much more than PoD.
Honestly I dont have the mental capacity to afford an esoteric album that could be potentially as devastating as tMV. I'm gonna wait for some time till the mood hits me.

I'm still not sure how to grasp this one. It's great but I'm so partial to TMV that nothing else they've done quite reaches me on that level. I need to spend more time with it but it's such a lengthy endeavor and mood-dependent, it's put me in a difficult spot.

tMV was an achievement that most bands cant even dream of having. It really did set the bar too high. I dont blame them if they cant produce something that is as great.
I checked the first song of this album and it was great. However, I dont think I'm in mood for the rest of the album yet.
