Somehow this album sounds both raw, atmospheric and dare I say psychedelic qualities? There are many melodies and leads buried deepmin the harsh mix but in tracks like "Isa! And "Kälte" they are particularly clear. One of the shortest albums of this project but one of the most consistent and well written too. This is also quite interesting given the previous releases which consists of much longer and droning tracks. A great intro for the project if you ask me. The ambient interludes are perfectly placed. This goes to show that the project doesn't need to show off with 20-minutes massive monoliths of raw wintery sonic landscapes. It is just as valid to create a short and effective album.
