Allen/Olzon - Announce Debut Album, Present First Song


Newly formed symphonic/power metal band Allen/Olzon, featuring vocalists Russell Allen and Anette Olzon, will release their debut album, Worlds Apart, on March 6th through Frontiers Music Srl. To taste a first piece of the new album, the lyric video for the title-track has been launched.

Surprisingly, Anette is the best thing about this. The song and Allen are mediocre AF and maybe it's just these cheap headphones, but the mix sounds terrible too.

Honestly, Annette Olzen sounds like crap. Would've been better if Amanda Sommerville collaborated again, or Floor Jansen, or even Simone Simons. But this is actually Allen/Lande 2.0 lol. But hey, maybe this is Allen's female duet band. Maybe the first album features Olzen, and the next album will have a different female vocalist? That would be a good idea.

I agree it sounds bland... I got too excited with Magnus being back. Still hoping there's at least one song worthwhile on the album.
