I'm afraid he still hasn't heard anything of it.....and it's about Greek history....what a shame....

OK so here is an epic TV movie based on the legend hero Siegfried Dark Kingdom: The Dragon King

I saw it yesterday on the plane, and I thought not bad for a TV movie, with the exception of the actor who portrayed Siegfried, really exaggerated how trustful/boyish the character is to the point of being ridiculous!

And speaking of Pathfinder, the new Hollywood remake, if you have not seen it yet, a word of advice, DON'T!! it is one of the worst movies that was ever made, utterly silly and a waste of time!

Tristian + Isold one of my favorite movies.

Kingdom of Heaven is awesome BUT make sure you see the directors cut and not the cinema version for the cinema version was pants. Also as historical accuracy seems to be paramount KOF is very accurate (it's about the second crusade)

Finally just a note that anyone recommending Braveheart has no right to knock 300 or Troy for accuracy.

That guy is amazing in this film! I gotta ask did you see the directors cut or cinema release? If you saw the cinema release try and hunt down the Directors Cut it's like a completely different film.

No i did not, what did he Cut in this movie?

Ridley scott rearranged the structure of the story to make it make sense he also added about 45 mins of footage involving essential character development, sub plots, conversations that not only flesh out all the characters but make the film flow a lot smoother, easier to follow and make sense. Seriously check it out, I reckon as someone who, like me, wasn't too hot on the first cut, you'll appreciate the directors cut even more.
