MAYBE A MORE EXTENSIVE ( short )LIST IS IN ORDER: How about solo's in general, and not just strictly metal? in no paticular order or preference..

white cliffs of dover ( steve johnson )
phenonomen compulsion (john Mclaughlin)
daydream (robin Trower)
imperial strut ( robben ford )
montana ( frank zappa)
victim of changes ( Glen tipton)
vodoo chile ( the man with the guitar)
the sails of charon ( rudy schenker )
master of puppets ( forgot his name )
no more tears -
farm fiddlin' zakk wylde
comfortably numb ( david gilmour )
godzilla ( B.O.C. )
the answer ( frank marino - live version) if this dosent send a chill up your spine, your paralyzed,
snortin' whiskey ( pat travers )

sorry to be so long winded, and I realize I have strayed from the original topic.

how about a post on most brutal riff pre 1980 or, post 1980;

What elements make up a memorable guitar solo:

what is better short solo's or long ones

best string wobbller?

fastsedt picker

best bender:

maker of the most evil riff, and waht is it

what key produces the evilist vibe:

who began using the devils triad?

whew, what do ya think.

'Pray On Prey' is a great song off his newest album. Also, something by Randy Rhoads, unfortunately its all Ozzy stuff with him on record.

Don't forget something by Randy Rhoads. I think on one of the versions of the album "Tribute" there is a track of his super long guitar solo.

well that would be Speed Kills, all of his songs are great, but that one really represents how amazing he is, one of the (if not) the greatest guitar players on earth
