Saltatio Mortis is a german medieval folk band which was started 2000 since then they released 6 studio albums some of them with electronical influences which i dont like but tavernakel and des königs henker are awesome especially des königs henker is a masterpiece of medieval rock/metal which i recommend you.

I've heard some of their work and agree that 'Des Königs Henker' is good. Some really good melodies. The same with 'Tavernakel'.

I got to this band when i knew that they're similar to in extremo. I like their stuff, but I think they're too instrumental. Still a great band.
