Not really. You don't have to listen to the lyrics if you don't like it. Just enjoy the music. I listen to a handful of NSBM band, that doesn't mean I'm gonna go out and Hitler-ise my town. The music NSBM bands produce are fairly exceptional, much better than alot of typical BM band nowadays.

as i consider lyrics as just important part of the song as the music itself than i cant just ignore them...also i despise anyone and anything that call itself NS...

They are playing a festival in Portugal next year. I will do everything to come and see them, it's not everyday that they play here. Also, I don't want to die without seeing Immortal live

Satanic bands practically invented the damn genre. And in their songs is a great place to express their beliefs, as music is a form of art and art is freedom of expression. Just because you're a Muslim and you take offense to anything that denounces your one true god doesn't mean musicians should stop writing about what they believe.

THIS! Some satanic bands are excellent. And I'm sure not all their members are actually "Satanic". They're just singing for the sake of keeping their music "dark". Lyrics shouldn't be taken seriously, in my opinion. It's more of how the words are presented and how the music goes along with it. If we have every music fan taking lyrics seriously, 500 million people will be having moves like Jagger.

well its like i said lyrics should be an integral part of the song but only in sake of the art...quality lyrics are plus for a song always...
but if a musician starts promoting some ideas through his lyrics than that is mixing politics with art and that is bad thing ... i dont like mixing politics with anything...

Well, the bullshit left. Somehow. I did listen to Morbid Angel and Immolation, and I wasn't offended. I quite liked them. I can't resist singing along with the "God Is..." part in MA's Chapel Of Ghouls! Where I live, metal is insulted by satanism. Nobody accepts metal because of a few STUPID bands like Deicide. However, some bands like Deathspell Omega employ clever satanism. That's what I meant.

Okay, but even if you narrow it down to the likes of say, for the sake of the thread, Immortal, and eliminate all Satanic bands (or bands who preach Satanism), Muslim culture will still refuse to accept heavy metal. Anyways, I lost a big part of my interest in Death Metal. I'm currently moar into the atmospheric black metal scene. I read your Coldworld review yesterday. Great review, but I think you really bashed "Escape" big time. It's not the album's best, but it has some cool-sounding violin parts.

i think that i didnt elaborated it on right way...let me explain...
first of all NSBM assholes are scum ... the words of such scum means nothing to me...
second thing: if a band want to promote certain ideas trough its work its all ok for me...but i think that mixing politics and ,music in this case, is not good idea purely because politics tend to ruin everything at the and (politics is whore, remember?)

i am not pissed of ...i cant hate them for being assholes which they are...i mean thats what are day and i accept that.My choice for not to listen to NSBM comes from the fact that i have fought those bastards before (when i was younger i had some "business" with them) and from the fact that i dont support it.And its like i said ideology and religion is all politics to me,and i dont like mixing either of them in music in this case.
Now lets all go back on this threads topic since Immortal is neither NSBM neither i find more need to elaborate this to any of you(if you want to discuss this further than send me pm but only after you read thing i wrote on NSBM thread).
