This is a band which has mambers from Mars Volta. They are classified as post-hardcore, style I know nothing about. Yet it sounds really nice and energetic. I am currently listening to "Relationship of Command" album. Check them out.

Zombie, M.D.

YES! Relationship of Command is one of my favorite albums ever, in any genre. I cant imagine anyone who can tolerate screaming vocals disliking this album. I was kind of unimpressed with their other material. Aside from In Casino Out I never listen to any of their other albums.

Wasn't Mars Volta spawned from the ruins of At the Drive-In?

@Ur-Nammu: Yes, it should be. Probably.

By the way, I like the vocals more in At the Drive-In than in Mars Volta. Those hardcorish vocals fit better to the vocalist (can´t remember his name).

Yeah, Cedric Bixler and Omar Rodriguez-Lopez formed The Mars Volta..and the rest of the guys formed Sparta (which is a cool band too)
At the drive-in was a great band..although I listened to this band when they released Relationship of command (the last album), I started to look for the rest of the albums and they are all great, specially In-casino-out

Relationship of Command is a UNREAL album but to me their other stuff is average except for In Casino Out but thats about it. IMO they are miles better than the Mars Volta eventhough they may be more popular and well known.

Amazing band, one of my personal favorites. Also, the mars volta is quite awesome as well, even though they differ in genres by a lot. Either way, they're both revolutionary.

I tried to get into this band because I love the Mars Volta but for me it just wasn't the same thing and I couldn't really get into it. Can somebody recommend to me which album I should check out if I'm looking for something more in the vien of what they're doing now with the Mars Volta.

None other than it would be neat to see them. The Swedish band Refused are also doing a reunion. Guess it's a celebration for hardcore fans.

I never got into this band properly. I should probably take the time to revisit their catalogue now.
