I know there are a lot of Helloween fans here. They're probably my absolute favourite power metal band of all time. I love how they can produce the serious songs and then make songs such as 'Perfect Gentleman'. Like most fans, I perfer the Kiske/Hansen albums to the more recent ones. I think Deris' voice is more suited for a heavy metal band TBH. Though it is still enjoyable to listen to him.
What are your thoughts on this band?

Helloween up to and including Keeper II I still play regularly, even though with Keeper II you could already see them going downhill (or more rpecisely down the path of flowery poer metal)
Keeper II is much better than Keeper I in my humble opinion. If all power flower metal was as good as this album, I'd be a fan of the genre. Sadly, nothing better than both Keepers was released in the last 2 decades.
prolly havn't looked that hard tho, right?

In power metal nothing better has indeed been released in the last 2 decades

Yeah Keeper II is a pretty perfect album.
For me Keeper II is without competition the best power metal album ever. Not even Keeper I is close as good. I think Viper - Theatre Of Fate and some Blind Guardian albums are the closest in quality I have heard.

Ok ok wow wait ? I don't get you all folks ? You guys really prefer Keeper II over Keeper I I do give you guys that the song itself surpasses Halloween... but uh, idk it fails to bring that unity, which Keeper I has no doubt. I mean I never skip a song on Keeper I, but on Keeper II... Rise and fall ? We got the right ? -_- Idk opinions once again.

Damn you, Guib, stop me from agreeing with you. This is the second time today I fully agree with you Keeper I is vastly superior for me than Keeper II.

Keeper I is vastly superior to Keeper II.
"Halloween" is vastly superior to "Keeper of the Seven Keys".

I prefer "Halloween" chorus-wise as well. "Halloween" also contains what may be the greatest moment ever in recorded music. OK, it's not, but still:
Quote:
I can see a light comin'
It's comin' nearer
It's shining
It's shining so bright
It's shining on me-e-e!
It's both hilarious and awesome at the same time.

Bleh I still think ''Keeper of the seven keys'' the song itself surpasses ''Halloween'' even though I prefer Keeper I as a whole.
