The last time this poll was around, I first voted for 'Legendary Tales' but then after giving all of their albums a good chance and listen to I decided I really preferred 'Power Of The Dragonflame' to any of the others.
I said that I thought all the people that voted for the first two albums probably hadnt given their other ones a good enough chance like I hadnt, and people seemed to jump all over me for saying that. hahaha
I still think there is some truth in that - for example everyone will always vote for the first two 'Keeper Of The Seven Keys' albums for Helloween and 'Imaginations From The Other Side' and 'Nightfall In Middle earth' for Blind Guardian
-the first two Rhapsody albums just have that reputaion and so people will always vote for them without giving the others a good chance.

I think 'Power Of The Dragonflame' is their best album, and 'Dawn Of Victory' is just behind that.
these two albums are more aggressive then the first two and seem to have more energy in them in my opinion.
of coruse i think the first two albums are still brilliant, especially 'Symphony Of Enchanted Lands' but i dont think they are as good as people make them out compared to the others.

But whatever, I am sure you will all let me know how you feel, and feel free to jump all over me again. haha. at least it gives us something to discuss.
Thanks!

Cannot choose so easily, I love aaaall Rhapsody's albums, but I voted for Dawn Of Victory, I has a very special meaning cuz it introduced me into power metal and into my favorite band of all times.

Hail to Rhapsody!!!

It´s a difficult decision..Rhapsody is maybe the best epic metal band(in this style.symphonic melodic epic.)..for me it is true.Legendary tales and symphony of enchanted land are albums amazing, this albums were a bomb in the metal world, they have like a sadness halo and they are so rich in musical register, symphonic operistic, this 2 albums were between the specialist considered like opus master 10 over 10.

What about Rain of a thousand Flames? I think that the first song - yes, it is typically Rhapsody's style in basic. But Lione's vocals are good aggressive. Guitars riffs - nice.
Deadly Omen - as a prologue to "Queen of the dark horizons". Sound as the beginning of something... and we can listen to very intrigue beginning of "Queen of the dark horizons" with classical vocal theme in Italian, than brilliant sounds of guitars and other instruments. Alex Staropoli did it well. Good drumming. Excellent and exciting refrain. All parts of composition are wonderful.
As for me - i like this song very much. So good for Fabio and other musicians. Lyrics are fluently written.
Tears of a dying Angel is good, but sometimes - i do not want to listen to the long Lione's monologue.
Elnor's magic valley - rest of mind and fine.
Wizard's last rhymes maybe the typically Rhapsody sound. But not bad.

I voted for Symphony Of Enchanted Lands, but i was wrong ... Best Rhapsody album is Symphony Of Enchanted Lands II with Unholy Warcry, Thunder's Mighty Roar and Never forgotten Heroes! ( In my opinion of course ;P )

Dawn Of Victory, hail to the cheese. Looking forward to the new one now, after years of not buying their stuff I'm interested again.
