When is so hard to pick a song, it means most of their songs are anthems. I would say any song between Dol Guldur and Oath Bound

Morthond. I just hope that the new album would have two or three fast-paced and more guitar leant songs like this one is.

"The Rotting Horse on the Deadly Ground" all the way.
Also "Mirdautas Vras" - probably the only song in the world fully written in the Black Speech of Mordor. ; )

To be a little weird in my answer, in the first album I have from them, Morthond. And from their last, The Wandering Fire, I love the epicness in this one. Like Windir said, it's hard to pick a song but my fav album is still Stronghold.

The Legend of the Master-Ring. Absolutely amazing song from their best album by far, in my opinion. I've always been a little dissapointed with Summoning since then. When I first started listening to the band, I decided to hear the discography in order. After "Minas Morgul" and that song I was so psyched for the rest. But nothing came close to it, still great stuff. But not as great.

Although "The Wandering Fire" is - when I'm in the right mood - damn close to being just as good.

Of the new album "The Wandering Fire" is my newest favourite. It also made me check out the The Fionavar Tapestry books.

Might surprise a few but "Flammifer", the opening song of the new record is one of my favs. Just grabbed me instantly and the rest followed. Stood out because of those lovely keyboards during the middle section.

Difficult for me. There it goes a Top 3 (and it depends on my mood) Today:

The land of the dead (Oath Bound), In hollow halls beneath the falls (Let mortal heroes sing your song), The Darkening of Valinor (Old Mornings Dawn)

It used to be Land of the Dead (that instrumental is impeccable), but now I'm leaning towards Where Hope and Daylight Die. It's very melancholic, and female vocals are a refreshing addition.
