Unfortunately they were the show. Some fire machines shooting tongues of flames into the night air and creating fountains of fire (pic 19980) might be fun to look at once, but there was no music at all. That would have added some more atmosphere and, more importantly, some kind of relevance to a metal festival. But this way nobody really knew what they were on about.
