Bands
Exmortus

The Southern California quartet EXMORTUS whose invigorating twin-guitar mix of neoclassical shred, Bay Area thrash, progressive death and traditional heavy metal has earned the group a devoted following.

Co-founded a decade ago by then-teenage cousins Conan (vocals/guitar) and Mario Moreno (drums), EXMORTUS self-released several demos and EPs before signing with Heavy Artillery Records in 2007. The group's 2008 debut "In Hatred's Flame" and 2011 follow-up "Beyond The Fall Of Time" earned praise for their "frighteningly aggressive thrash blended with both death metal and NWOBHM bluster" (Blabbermouth), and their exuberant, shred-heavy live performances can convert even the most jaded heshers into enthusiastic headbangers.

Bands
Temple Of Void

Temple of Void is an uncompromising collaboration from the depths of Detroit. Comprising of five musicians who have put in decades of time in the Detroit underground, ToV entered this world with singular focus and methodical execution from the start. ToV harkens back to the somber sound of early British doom, while channeling the energy and devastation of old school American death metal. But ToV is far more than the sum of its parts. Temple of Void destroys.

Temple of Void self-released their demo in May 2013. Four weeks later and they had signed to four different record labels to produce and distribute their demo across the world. The demo was met with staggering support from the underground. And now, just over a year later and ToV is unleashing their debut album on double LP and cassette on Saw Her Ghost Records, as well as on CD through Rain Without End Records. This slab of barbarity is titled, "Of Terror and the Supernatural."

Reviews
Persefone - Aathma

And so begins the next chapter. One band from Andorra has torn the fabric of space-time continuum to deliver another one-of-a-kind album. Persefone has undergone some lineup changes in recent years but the quality of musicianship hasn't been affected one bit. With prior outstanding works such as Core, Shin-Ken and more recently Spiritual Migration, the expectation level was high. However, the guys managed to release a really high-quality effort of progressive melodic death metal yet again.
