Swallow The Sun - Dubai Show Cancelled Due To 'Devil Worshiping'

News just in: Finnish metallers Swallow The Sun were revoked from playing at their upcoming Dubai concert (February 12th) by the local authorities, says label Metal East Records. This comes after the band were accused that their concert in Dubai would be "promoting devil-worshiping". Just last year, Aborted's show in Dubai was also shut down.

The Black Dahlia Murder - To Play Entire 'Unhallowed' Album, Guitarist Quits

The Black Dahlia Murder have a few news to share today, good and bad news. After releasing their new album, Abysmal, the band has announced another headlining trek - this time, taking the show back to their roots! With Fallujah and Disentomb as support, the band plans to play their first full-length, Unhallowed (2003), in its entirety during the run, performing at intimate venues across the USA that haven't seen The Black Dahlia Murder since their debut was released. Brandon Ellis will join them on the road as the band's touring guitarist and replacement for Ryan Knight, who amicably parted ways with the group.

Eternal Sorrow

The Eternal Sorrow band emerged in 1994, with the proposal develop a heavy and aggressive Doom Metal.

In 1995 it launched the Demo Tape "The Sadness 'Elevation', with an Intro and two songs (Eternal Sorrow and Lonely Sufferance). This demo paved the way for the Eternal Sorrow, considered as high quality by the magazine Rock Brigade and the underground fanzines. In Portugal "The Sadness" Elevation "won the best foreign demo tape award of 1995, elected by the Stage Dyving program, Azores. In 1996 the band participates in the compilation CD "The Winds of the New Millenium # 2" by Demise Records, with music Dreams of Reality.

Funeral Moth

Funeral Moth was formed by Nobuyuki Sentou (ex-Coffins, ex-Psycho To Black), Makoto Fujishima (ex-Deathchurch, De-Nihil, Autumn Stillness) and Junpei Ishimaru (Morquido) in Autumn 2005. Funeral Moth's debut live was held on May 3rd 2006 and shared the stage with some international bands like StarGazer, Gallhammer, Intestine Baalism, and so on. In November 2006, they recorded 1st demo at Noise Room Studio, at which Nobuyuki recorded many stuffs as Coffins/Psycho To Black member. The Moth Flying To The Funeral Sky was released by Makoto's own label Weird Truth Productions.

Sunn O))) - Announce Spring 2016 North America Shows

Drone doom metal masters Sunn O))) will be presenting their latest album Kannon live in North America this spring. First, the band will perform at Big Ears Fest in Knoxville on April 2nd, appearing as one of the main acts. The festival will be immediately followed by shows in Nashville, Athens, Atlanta, Jacksonville, and Tampa through April 8th. Later that month, Sunn O))) will travel to Austin to take part in Levitation 2016 and will assemble again in May, with a set at Moogfest in Durham, North Carolina.

One year later, there was another band name change, and this time they came back under the Zhrine moniker and signed with Season Of Mist. Their debut album will drop on April 8th entitled Unortheta.
