Tankard - Share Video For New Album Title Track

German thrashers Tankard will release their new studio album, One Foot In The Grave, on June 2nd via Nuclear Blast. The follow-up to 2014's R.I.B. was recorded at Gernhart Studios in Troisdorf with producer Martin Buchwalter (Destruction, Accu§er, Perzonal War, Suidakra). After revealing the song "Arena Of The True Lies", the band now shares the official video for One Foot In The Grave's title track, which can be seen below.

Thy Art Is Murder - Announce New Album, Euro Tour

Australia's extreme metal export Thy Art Is Murder have just announced to release their fourth full-length record, entitled Dear Desolation, later this year via Nuclear Blast which sees the return of frontman CJ McMahon. Moreover, the band also announces their European headlining tour for the upcoming studio album, kicking off on September 29th in Munich, Germany. After The Burial, Oceano and Justice For The Damned will accompany them.

A Scholarly Analysis Of Six Feet Under's "Murdered In The Basement"

Chris Barnes's post-Cannibal Corpse career has been a wild ride. He formed Six Feet Under, he was in a fantastic commercial for a local car dealership, and I guess that's it. Things have been rough on the musical front for a few decades now, as you might expect from someone whose favorite pastimes include punching superior vocalists in the face, and Chris has now achieved the impossible by making music exactly as disgusting as the lyrics he so expertly composed during his tenure in Cannibal Corpse. I have so far reviewed five Six Feet Under albums for Metal Storm, and the highest rating I gave any was a 4.8. Recently, however, I realized that no one has ever given Chris the credit he deserves for 6FU's magnum opus, "Murdered In The Basement," which, believe it or not, is actually a very clever metaphor for the Russian Revolution.

Avatarium - New Video Released, Tour Announced

Avatarium have recently shared two pieces of good news. First, one week before Hurricanes And Halos hits the stores, the doom metallers unveil the music video to the brand new single "The Starless Sleep". The video was shot in Stockholm and directed by Johan Bååth, who already produced "Pearls And Coffins" for the previous album. Enjoy the new song here. Bassist Dan Briggs (Between The Buried And Me, Trioscapes, Nova Collective) has shared his cover of the theme to the legendary television series "Twin Peaks". The show was created by Mark Frost and David Lynch, and ran for two seasons between 1990 and 1991. Celtic Frost - Fischer Does Not Endorse New Reissues

Celtic Frost leader Thomas Gabriel Fischer has denounced BMG's recently announced plans to reissue the band's seminal Noise Records catalogue on June 30th. The reissues include four of the band's Noise-era studio albums: Morbid Tales, To Mega Therion, Into The Pandemonium and Vanity/Nemesis. The albums will be reissued on deluxe hardback CD and 180-gram double album sets, complete with posters and 10-inch spine bound book. All tracks have been fully remastered and releases contain previously unreleased and rare tracks.
