Savage Messiah have dropped a new music video "Down And Out", directed by David Pear. The song is coming from their forthcoming studio album Demons, to be out on May 17th through Century Media. Abyssal - Complete New Album, Reveal Details

UK dark ambient death metal entity Abyssal have completed work on fourth opus, entitled A Beacon In The Husk. It will be out on June 21st on CD/2xLP/Digital via Profound Lore Records. Standing as the most colossal and ambitious offering yet, A Beacon In The Husk stretches the Abyssal sound into even darker, more abstract, noisier, and progressive realms than anything within the Abyssal oeuvre.

Pro-Pain - Split With Guitarist, Announce Replacement

Pro-Pain have announced the departure of guitarist Adam Phillips and addition of Greg Discenza, who will fill the empty spot. Phillips joined Pro-Pain in 2011 as the replacement for Tom Klimchuck and appeared on the band's last three studio albums, 2012's Straight To The Dome, 2013's The Final Revolution and 2015's Voice Of Rebellion.

A lot of prog bands use '80s influence in a pretty gimmicky way. Very few bands actually make retro music that doesn't feel like it's trying to be on Stranger Things. Might be the fact that this supergroup has members of Kayo Dot and Gorguts.

Next month, on May 17th, Rammstein will release new studio album - Rammstein. After releasing first single and video "Deutschland" last month, the group now premiere another music video, this time for the track "Radio". Video clip was directed by Jörn Heitmann (Katapult production company).

Thy Art Is Murder - Announce New Album, Premiere Track And Video

Australians deathcore bringers Thy Art Is Murder will release their fifth studio record, entitled Human Target, on July 26th via Nuclear Blast Records and Human Warfare (Australia & New Zealand). The album was produced, engineered, mixed and mastered by Will Putney at Graphic Nature Audio in Belleville, NJ. The cover artwork was once again painted by Eliran Kantor. In anticipation of the album release, the band has unleashed a music video for the title-track, directed by Thomas Savage.

Somehow, Dirty Shirt found themselves with the label "crossover folk metal," the only band on our site to be so graced. I don't know where that tag came from, but it seems appropriate - after all, Letchology is a big cluster of sounds you don't usually find in folk metal. Or metal in general.
