Sunn O))) - Soused [Collaboration]

So Sunn O))) seem to have been taking a liking to collaborations as of late. This in itself is not a bad thing, as Greg Anderson and Stephen O'Malley have already proven themselves as versatile musicians capable of adapting their sound on multiple occasions. This time around, however, the duo chose to work with Avantgarde musician Scott Walker, the results of which were unfortunately a bit like mixing oil with water.

Some weeks ago I reviewed Tussen Hun En De Zon, debut album of Tarnkappe. It was a blast and left me impressed. It shows a great display of old school atmospheric black metal, so when a few days later the band's label asked for an interview, how could I possibly decline? Veil Of Maya - Part Ways With Vocalist Brandon Butler

Veil Of Maya have announced that vocalist Brandon Butler is no longer in the group. He was in the band since 2007 and the band didn't really explain his departure. The deathcore outfit merely wished him the best and says that are looking for a new frontman to fill his shoes. Veil Of Maya is also currently in the studio working on their next album to follow 2012's Eclipse.
