Exodus - Fan Dies After Cardiac Arrest At Buenos Aires Show

Bay Area thrashers Exodus are currently on their Latin American Tour. Sadly, they send their deepest sympathy to the loved ones of their fan Gustavo Molina, who has died of cardiac arrest shortly after the band's show in Buenos Aires, Argentina on October 9th. Gustavo Molina, who was around 25 years old, reportedly played bass for the Argentinian thrash metal band Kronos.

Archgoat - New Album Cover And Details Revealed

The Finnish demonic horde Archgoat are about to release their new sonic blasphemy, The Apocalyptic Triumphator. The band's label Debemur Morti Productions confirms that this new album will be released this coming winter on CD, vinyl and digital download. Malevolent Creation - Join Century Media, New Album In 2015

Here is another band that will release a new album next year. Death metal veterans Malevolent Creation have signed a worldwide deal with Century Media Records. The band is working on its 12th full-length album for a 2015 release. Their last album, Invidious Dominion, came out four years ago. Drummer Justin DiPinto is now in the band again after Gus Rios was fired.

In sad news today, the world has lost another great musician. The former The Mars Volta keyboardist Isaiah "Ikey" Owens has died of a heart attack at the age of 38. He was currently playing with Jack White. Ikey Owens was out on tour with Jack White in Mexico when he died.

The Defiled - Play World's First Gig On A Floating Iceberg

After Metallica played in Antarctica, The Defiled turned a gigantic Iceberg into the most unlikely of gig venues in the Greenland Sea recently when Jägermeister Music UK invited the band to perform on top of the floating platform for the Jägermeister Ice Cold Gig - which sees artists put to the test as they perform in unconventional, ice cold conditions. Braving freezing temperatures and fast flowing ice, the group performed the special set to a host of locals from the nearby town of Kulusuk. The band played songs from their latest album Daggers. Pryapisme - New EP In February, Trailer Online

Pryapisme will release a new EP entitled Futurologie on February 9th, 2015 via Apathia Records. It will feature a massive 23-minute track "about space, cats and house rent," plus a full classical re-orchestration of this track. The Reasons Behind project was born in 2010 from the ashes of a gothic metal cover band (After Forever, Within Temptation, etc.). In April 2012 we self published our debut EP Ouverture, receiving many good reviews from Italian and foreign press (Ravenheart music, Femme Metal Webzine, metalhead italian webzine, Heaven is not too far portuguese webzine and many more) and becoming Maniac Demo of the month on Italian Metal Maniac magazine.

This good press & audience reaction let us play with some acclaimed Italian metal bands like White Skull, Ancient Bards and Tystnaden, playing several gigs along the country to spread our music.

Nightwish - Richard Dawkins To Guest On New Album, Cruises In 2015

Nightwish, who are currently recording their new album, have revealed one special guest to be featured on the new release. His name is Professor Richard Dawkins (author of The Selfish Gene) who has been one of Tuomas Holopainen's favorite authors. The band was in London last week at Angel Studios for the recordings of the orchestral parts, which also will feature fiddler Dermot Crehan (Lord Of The Rings OST), and finished them off before heading back to Finland for the last finishing touches.

Cannibal Corpse - Comment On Cancelled Russian Shows

Even before Cannibal Corpse began their Russian trek, they had Russian Orthodox Church activist organizations trying to ban the shows. The truth is that three of the shows were cancelled. The death metal band recently completed their tour of Russia, a place they have played previously many times with no issues. Unfortunately, this tour did not go as planned. The group has now released a statement addressing these cancellations. Basically, they weren't allowed to perform at some shows.
