Bands
Dallian

From the alchemical merging of "Metal" music and the aesthetics of "Steampunk", an unlikely synthesis is born, giving rise to "Dallian", a band hoping to fill a void in this still very underexplored fusion.

Rising in 2017 from the centre of Portugal, in the small city of Leiria,
Dallian is a band with roots on a solid background of modern Death Metal with added virtuosity of symphonic elements, all arranged in progressive dynamics.
"I really appreciate the complexity and textures you can get from using orchestral elements." Explains Carlos, "This larger sound pallet adds more depth to the chord progressions. We didn´t limit ourselves to the orchestra standard too, implementing also more obscure, less common traditional instruments from several different cultures, which contributes to the exotic feel of our work. Bands
Living Death

In 1980 bass player Dieter Kelch, his brother, guitar player Reiner Kelch and Frank Fricke found the band Living Death. In 1981 the band is completed by drummer Frank Schubring and singer Thorsten 'Toto' Bergmann. A year later they record some demos resulting, in 1983, a deal with Axel Thubeauville, owner of the Earthshaker label.

In the same year drummer Frank Schbring quits, while the band has to use studio bass player Eric, who can be heard on the debut album Vengeance Of Hell. The album is licenced to Mausoleum Records, who releases it in July of '84. This month they also find another drummer, Harald Lutze, who joins them for a number of gigs being support act of Warlock. After this tour he's fired and replaced by Andreas Overhoff.

Bands
Acrophet

Drummer & lyricist Jason Mooney formed the band in 1986. At the time all members were enrolled in high school. After much persistence and perseverance their 3 song demo ''The Answer Within'' was signed to Triple X/Road Runner Records. The band dominated the local Milwaukee scene drawing 400 to 1000 people at shows and festivals.

Word of the band soon took off like California wildfire and they soon were playing festivals and touring the US & Mexico… all before the ripe old age of 18!!! The guys were headlining arenas in Mexico and opening for such acts in the US as Sepultura, Flotsam And Jetsam, King Diamond, Death, Exodus, Testament, Overkill, Death Angel, Nuclear Assault, Realm, Helix & Drivin-N-Crying.

Bands
Portread

Portread was created in 2013 and the band is currently engaged with recording brand new material. The band grew out of a death metal band named Obscured, which was active in the early 90s. Two original Obscured members Meelis and Indrek came together in 2012, in order to form Portread.

New material also sees further co-operation with upcoming young singer Anne Arrak. Her melodic yet strong vocal parts mixed with heavy guitar riffs that Obscured was known for create unique sound image which is safe to say a continuation of Obscured's two-decade long experiments of combining metal and beautiful female vocals.

Bands
Seraphic

After her short but memorable tenure as frontwoman in symphonic metal band Alpine Fault came to an end, Sam Wolstenholme decided she would not stop there. Instead, in early 2014, she began forming an entirely new symphonic metal-inspired band - Seraphic. Early on in the piece, Sam was lucky enough to find Erwin Febrianto, ex-Rising Force and power metal shredder-extraordinaire, who joined the band as lead guitarist. Michael Bates joined soon after as smooth-sailing bassist and Dylan Thurecht on drums. Building upon Sam's acoustic piano/vocal pieces, each member of the band contributed their own parts to each song to create a melodic, epic, yet entirely unique kind of metal.

Bands
Vortex

In the late seventies, the hard rock and heavy metal scene in Holland slowly starts to take shape. Most bands are copying the sound of the Godfathers Purple, Sabbath, Zeppelin and Pink Floyd. The most succesful bands from our country are Picture, Bodine, Vengeance, Vandale and Vandenberg. The band with the highest cult level though can be found in the upper north of Groningen. We are talking about Vortex here, founded in 1979. Quick mathematics will tell you, that it is time for a celebration now, because it's thirty years ago, since the six 'hammers of the north' came together. Besides Lynyrd Skynyrd, this is probably the only raw rock and roll band, that had three (!!!) guitarplayers in their line-up, being Peter Hummel, Gerard Waalboer and founder member Martjo 'Whirlewolf' Brongers. The remainder of the band back in those early days consisted of Gerrit Kuiper (ex-Living Rock) on vocals, Peter de Bluts on drums and Peter 'Metal Macleans' Hes (also ex-Living Rock) on bass guitar, who actually replaced short term member Rikkie.

Bands
Souls At Zero

Souls At Zero (formerly known as Wrathchild America) were formed in Martinsburg, West Virginia in early 80's. The thrash metal outfit was formed by bassist Brad Divens with guitarists Jay Abbene and Terry Carter, and drummer Shannon Larkin.

Wrathchild America released two albums for Atlantic Records; 'Climbin' The Walls' (1989) and '3-D' (1991). Despite the bands' success, with the onset of grunge in the early 1990s, mainstream interest in metal was on the decline. Inevitably, Wrathchild America became a casualty of the grunge-era, being dropped from Atlantic Records.

Bands
Wrathchild America

Formed in 1983 this band became legendary in the Maryland / Virginia area by working hard by playing local gigs and extensive touring. Wrathchild were signed to Atlantic Records but before they could release their first record a british glam band with the same name sued and forced the delay of their debut release. So the band changed their name to Wrathchild America but by the time "Climbing The Walls" was released in 1989 the scene was moving in different directions. Songs like "No Deposit No Return", "Silent Darkness (Smothered Life)" and the Pink Floyd cover of "Time" were nothing short of great metal by some talented musicians. Check out the pit anthem "Climbing The Walls" and you'll here what I mean. Again they play local gigs and tour their asses off building an awesome reputation.
