DevilDriver - Releasing Country Covers Album

DevilDriver have announced a new release: Outlaws 'Til The End, a country covers album which will feature a variety of guests, including Ana Cristina Cash, Randy Blythe and Mark Morton (Lamb Of God), Lee Ving of Fear, Wednesday 13, Burton C. Bell of Fear Factory, and Brock Lindow of 36 Crazyfists. It will be out on July 6th, 2018 via Napalm Records.

Onslaught - Preparing New Album, Line-up Changes

Onslaught have informed that they are finally releasing the follow-up to their latest album, VI (2013). According to them, songs have been written, demo tracks recorded and the thrashing machine is racing forward at full throttle. With a release date set before the end of 2018, "this is shaping up to be Onslaught's most vicious and hard hitting thrash metal attack yet!" They also announced that drummer Michael Hourihan and guitarist Iain ''GT'' Davies have left the band.

Exciter - New Album Coming

The reunited original lineup of Canadian speed/thrash metal pioneers Exciter, which consists of guitarist John Ricci, drummer/vocalist Dan Beehler and bassist Allan Johnson, is preparing to enter the studio to begin recording their first album in more than three decades. the plan is to release it next year.

When Nothing Remains - To Play Live Again

If you are hoping to hear news about When Nothing Remains's new album, the latest update confirmed that the release is planned for later this year. In 2017, the band stopped all live activities, but they are returning to the stage now that guitarist Peter Laustsen has recovered from severe back pain. They will play live at the Moscow Doom Festival in May, together with The Foreshadowing, Officium Triste, Mare Infinitum and Restless Oblivion.

Et Moriemur

Breastfed off the gloomy atmosphere of Franz Kafka's Prague, the Czech existential doom metal horde ET MORIEMUR (EM) was founded in February 2008.

Featuring ex-members of DISSOLVING OF PRODIGY, SILENT STREAM OF GODLESS ELEGY and members of PANYCHIDA and OBLOMOV, the band released an EP (Lacrimae Rerum, 2009, self-released) and its debut full-length album ("Cupio Dissolvi", 2011, Parat prod.).

The album received several positive reviews and EM ranked second in the 2011 edition of the "New Artist of the Year" Czech rock/metal publicists awards and played scores of gigs both in the Czech Republic and abroad, sharing the stage with such bands as MOURNFUL CONGREGATION, ESOTERIC, SATURNUS, WORSHIP, AHAB, ISOLE, OPHIS or MARCHÉ FUNEBRE and performing at prestigious festivals such as BRUTAL ASSAULT, GOTHOOM OPEN AIR (SK), DARKEN THE MOON (BE) and CZECH DEATH FEST.

Steven Wilson - Show At Royal Albert Hall To Be Filmed For Future Release

Steven Wilson will perform at the Royal Albert Hall for three days in a row on his European tour in support of To The Bone. The first show happens today but on March 29th, the performance will be filmed for a future Blu-ray/DVD release! Each show will have exclusive content, including an unplugged performance and former bandmate, keyboardist Richard Barbieri, joining Steven to play some Porcupine Tree music.

L.A. Guns - Find New Guitarist

California rockers L.A. Guns just hired a new gun. It's new guitarist Johnny Monaco (Enuff Z'Nuff) who has joined the group's ranks. He joins L.A. Guns as the replacement for Michael Grant, who left band earlier in the month. Michael Grant announced that he left on March 5th "to pursue other interests including his solo project, Michael Grant & The Assassins."

Sojourner - Announce First Shows As Full Band

Sojourner is a folk-influenced atmospheric black metal band from Dunedin, New Zealand including members from Malmö, Sweden and Bergamo, Italy. A few weeks ago, the band released their second full-length album, The Shadowed Road. Most recently, they announced their first live shows as a full band. Their debut show will be at the North of the Wall Festival pre-show on April 26th at The Garage in Glasgow and the second at Darktroll Fest in Bornstedt, Germany on May 10th.
