Nightwish - Announce European Tour With Arch Enemy, Amorphis

Nightwish have now announced their first European leg of the Endless Forms Most Beautiful world tour. They will be supported by none other than Arch Enemy and Amorphis on all shows. The three metal heavyweights will bring their sets to Denmark, Germany, The Netherlands, France, Switzerland, Italy, Romania, Czech Republic, Luxembourg and Belgium. God Dethroned - Working On New Material

While they haven't released a new album in five years, God Dethroned are now working on new material. The death metallers reunited on board the 70000 Tons Of Metal 2015 and that seemed to have sparked them to write new music. Abiotic - North American Tour Confirmed

Abiotic, the progressive deathcore/tech death metal band from Miami, is set to release their upcoming new album, Casuistry, on April 21st on Metal Blade Records. In support of the album, the band will be hitting the road starting this April for an extensive North American tour. The band is heading out alongside Boris The Blade, Alterbeast and more. Slough Feg - Announce New Drummer

Slough Feg, whose last album Digital Resistance was in the running for Best Heavy / Melodic Metal Album on Metal Storm Awards 2014, have a new drummer in the fold. Addison Filipczyk, who is 25, will have big shoes to fill following in the wake of Harry Cantwell's departure, but after several months of rehearsal the group is confident that they are in capable hands and feet.

Windhand - Enter The Studio

Windhand are back at it after their massive Soma album. The Richmond doomsters have entered the studio with legendary producer Jack Endino (Nirvana, Soundgarden, High On Fire). The band is recording their anticipated third full-length album at Soundhouse Recording in Seattle, WA. The currently untitled album will see a fall release via Relapse Records and promises to be their most ambitious record to date. The album will contain nine songs including titles like "Two Urns", "Hyperion" and "Kingfisher".

Opting to meander in new directions through new barrios is very intriguing and, at times, tinged with a little danger. Metallica - Launch Reissue Project With 'No Life 'Til Leather' Cassette

Remember the 1982 No Life 'Til Leather demo? And cassettes? Well, Metallica will celebrate this year's "Record Store Day" with the release of an exact duplication of the band's 1982 demo tape as a limited-edition cassette on April 18th. The artwork was made from Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich's own copy and will feature his handwriting. At the time, the group consisted of vocalist/guitarist James Hetfield, lead guitarist Dave Mustaine (Megadeth), bassist Ron McGovney and drummer Ulrich. Some of the songs from this demo became classics of the band and all but "The Mechanix" would appear on their debut Kill 'Em All.

Sepultura - 30th Anniversary North American Tour

Sepultura are celebrating their 30th anniversary with a tour in North America in May and June. The thrash legends released their first music 30 years ago in 1985, Bestial Devastation. Bassist Paulo Jr. remains the only original member in the band but there is also guitarist Andreas Kisser, who is in the band since 1987. Now they can't wait to travel in time through their history with their fans in the U.S. and Canada. Sepultura will join forces with the mighty Destruction and Arsis, as well as Boris The Blade, The Last Ten Seconds Of Life, Micawber, and Starkill as rotating openers.
