Allen/Lande - New Album Samples Online

Eluveitie - Origins

So here we are again, fellow folks. Eluveitie, kings of Celtic metal, are back with two new members and sixteen new songs. Hopefully no one expects something different than your usual folkish fiddle metal for this is exactly what you get here, once again. But seriously, those Swiss guys have always been great at what they do and especially after Ensiferum's last effort we all know that things can go wrong if you change too much. So now that we worked out our expectations, the rest is about distinguishing good and bad not-so-good songs while having a look at the overall sound on Origins.

Theocracy - Announce New Drummer

After splitting with the band's drummer earlier this year, Georgia-based melodic metal band Theocracy is excited to introduce the addition of drummer Patrick Nickell to the line-up. Patrick is originally from Nashville, TN, and brings 13 years of drumming experience to the band. Artillery - To Join Onslaught On North American Tour

After playing in 2012 on the Barge To Hell cruise, Denmark thrash metal veterans Artillery will return to North America this fall for their first ever North American tour. The band will join Onslaught and Striker beginning on October 23rd at Saint Vitus in Brooklyn, NY. The tour will weave its way throughout North America before coming to a close in Hollywood, CA on November 26th. Dates for the 'North American Thrash Invasion Tour' can be found below the flyer.

Tool - Explain New Album Delay

Tool's latest album was 10,000 Days released back in 2006. The band has been working on new material but contrary to some rumours (a misunderstanding between the band's guitarist and a fan led to speculation that the group had completed the album and intended to release it this year), they haven't completed the new album yet. In a new interview with Rolling Stone, guitarist Adam Jones and drummer Danny Carey confirm that the new Tool record is far from completion. An ongoing lawsuit has weighed on all of the group members but the band has continued to write new music.
