Take Over And Destroy

TOAD is a 6 piece band from Phoenix, Arizona that has crafted a sound of their own that cannot easily be classified. This entitled "Rotten Tide" and was tracked live to analog tape. For this album, TOAD teamed up with recording engineer/producer Bob Hoag, who owns and operates Flying Blanket Recording. All vintage gear from the 60's and 70's was used to get a true rock and roll sound. The serious snarl of the vocals are accompanied with horrifyingly distorted organ scattered throughout, which provides a new unique sound that TOAD has coined as their own.

Bands
Haar

Haar was formed in 2008 with the ambition to create challenging and idiosyncratic black metal. Our sound is defined by a generous measure of dissonance, a progressive approach to songwriting and a palette of sounds that includes death and doom metal influences. Lyrical subject matter is typically rooted in a study of Ontology and human nature.

The first EP, released in May 2010, was well received by both the metal press and fans. This has lead to the band playing with bands such as Negura Bunget, Winterfylleth, Altar of Plagues, Aura Noir, Wodensthrone and A Forest of Stars. The follow up to the first EP was originally self-released in July 2012 in limited quantities. It was re-released on Todestrieb records in Nov 2012.

Bands
Hideous Divinity

HIDEOUS DIVINITY's music starts taking form in January 2007 between Oslo (Enrico, former founding member of HOUR OF PENANCE now living in Norway) and Rome (Synder & Mauro, both members and ex-members of HOUR OF PENANCE and EYECONOCLAST). The aim is to come out with some real, straight-in-your-face unholy death metal: in other words, the only music in the world that deserves to be played.

The two songs featuring the "Sinful Star Necrolatry" were written and arranged by Enrico during 2007 and finally recorded by Enrico, Synder and Mauro in September, 2007 at the 16th Cellar Studios by the sound-engineer and long-time friend Stefano "Saul" Morabito (who also took care of the mixing).

Bands
Gone Postal

Gone Postal was originally formed under the name My Shattered Dreams, as a hardcore/groove metal project between guitarists Haukur and Nökkvi, in late 2006. It was just an idea at the time, just a mutual thought between two friends, but developed into a more focused plan when they saw the hardcore band Klístur play, resulting in the recruitment of Tobbi (Klístur's singer) a man with a more bear-like vocal style than human. As soon as they found a place to practice things started rolling towards progression. Haukur recruited Jonni, a drummer he had known for years, but Jonni left after a few weeks, simply because he didn't care for the direction they were heading towards, but with no hard feelings. His departure resulted in the arrival of Stebbi (Klístur's drummer) to the fold, bringing speed, heaviness and tightness to the music. Finding a bassist was not an easy task to overcome. First, around Jonni's time in the band, Gísli (Atrum) showed up for a few rehearsals, but left very soon. Some weeks or months later, Karl (ex-Withered) joined in for a few months but like Gísli, he moved on to other things. Then our good friend Úlfur played the bass on a couple of shows before Ending Credits' bassist Danni filled the gap as a session bassist but recently parted ways with Gone Postal.

Bands
Sororicide

Sororicide was founded early 1990 by Gisli (bass/vocals) and Gaui (guitar). To begin with they played heavy thrash metal but soon evolved into death metal. The first gig was in June the same year, but it wasn't until the band won a national band contest in 1991, under the name Infusoria, that they started to get noticed. Soon after they changed the name back to Sororicide and autumn 1991 saw the band enter the studio.

The Entity was released in December the same year, by an Icelandic record label called Platonic Records. The line-up was, along with Gisli and Gaui, Karl on drums, Fróði on guitar and Bogi vocals. The album got a fine reception and sold reasonably well. Early 1992 Bogi left the band, and Gisli took over the vocal duties again. In march 1992 the band entered the studio again to record a few songs for an Icelandic metal compilation album. Later that year, Apocalypse was released, which contained three songs by Sororicide. These recordings got very positive reviews, both in Iceland and abroad. Sororicide entered the studio yet again in the summer 1993 to record for a 7" that was to be released by Rising Realm Records in Finland. This incarnation of the band included Arnar on guitar and Unnar on drums, as well as the founders, Gisli and Gaui. These recordings weren't released until spring 1994, as a split CD with UK's Chorus of Ruin, with Sororicide's part called Godlike. Unfortunately, the band had played their last of over sixty gigs a couple of months before Godlike was released. Then in early 2000, after a six year break, Gísli and Unnar with the help of Bjarni and Frosti, guitar players of Mínus, played the last Sororicide gig at the Reykjavik Music Festival in June 2000 .
