02:30 - Redn1ght I just discovered those bands earlier yesterday... I need to find more bands to listen to.
02:28 - moonflash Yeah once you get to the weird part of youtube the right side bar becomes an awesome portal of discovery lol. And the one you just posted sounds equally intruiging, kinda like kung-fu hustle meets In Extremo :P
02:12 - Redn1ght There's also The Nine Treasures: [link] @Moonflash.
02:03 - Redn1ght Just browse through youtube's weird parts. You will find some weird ones.
01:53 - moonflash Frankly I'm kinda bored of germanic/scandinavian folk metal. So it's really refreshing to hear some asian or other folk influenced bands.
01:43 - Redn1ght So yeah, Moonflash. Tengger kinda sound like Finntroll. Just saying. :p
01:41 - Redn1ght Throat singing fits Metal so much. Haha.
Here we go. Today we have a little extension of the chord arpeggio shapes I covered last time. Now we're going to add the right hand and tap some of the notes. The muting can be a bit tricky at first. Take your time. Work on one string at a time, then slowly try to connect them in one direction. Then, the other. Finally put them in order across the fret-board the same way we did with the the chord shapes in episode 2. As always, add notes, take some away, change the shape around to make something musical for you. At the very least, you can impress your friends.
Love the screw up with "be careful with the right hand so you don't get the harmonic" (like i just did). as well as them being so automatic that going slow seems far more difficult than ripping off hair-rising metal solii.
next time in town, need to bug you to show off yer chops. well beyond my meager abilites,
