01. Todestrieb
The title it's a german term meaning more or less "Impulse Towards Death". The lyrics deal with personal visions of Death, desolation, suicide and endless nothingness.

02. Scars
This song was based on personal thoughts and remembrances of a moment of my life, focusing on pain, loneliness and self-mutilation.

03. Daylight Obsession
This one is dedicated to my sick way of seeing the Summer time. It deal with raving visions of mine, it's hard to describe 'cause the concepts in the lyric appeared at me as flashes through my mind. I was blinded by a suffocating sun in a desolated country road and I had visions of murder, deserted houses and slaughtered bodies.

04. Springtime Depression
There are no lyrics in this song. In the beginning it was supposed to have clean, depressive vocals on it but when I recorded the song I was too depressed to sing those lyrics so I left it without vocals. I think it sounds very melancholic. I was playing this song on my guitar all day long in the past Spring thinking about killing myself. It was a terrible moment in my existence. I want this song to be played at my funeral though.

05. Colourless Despondency
It deal with suicide in its highest beauty. Visions of void, eternal sorrow and devotion to Negativity.

06. Subway Apathy
This song fuckin' rocks. The lyrics are great, 'cause they deal with suburban misery and industrial desolation. I'm really fascinated by these kind of things. All the best and worst moments in my life has always been related to train-stations and subways for some strange reason, so I feel those places to be the homeland for my sickness and depression. One of the best things in this lyric is the "departure"-theme, the train can be seen as a metaphore of someone or something in your life that leaves, as you remain alone with your nothingness.
