Cavalera Conspiracy

With: Marc Rizzo (Guitars) & Johny Chow (Bass)
Conducted by: Jeff (in person)
Published: 18.09.2008

Band profile:

Cavalera Conspiracy
Here we are with a new video interview from Hellfest 2008! This time, this is the turn of Marc Rizzo and Johny Chow to talk a bit about Cavalera Conspiracy. Marc is sure of one thing, Cavalera Conspiracy is a real band and not a project and we can expect new albums in the future! Jonhny Chow (who comes from the band Fireball Ministry) is the new official bassist of the combo and should play on the next album. Joe Duplantier will probably help for the future albums, if they all find the time to work together again.

Anyway you know how it works now so if you want to see this interview, just push on "play" and enjoy!

Part 1

Part 2

Interview by Jeff
Production: Fred "Outretombe"
Video: SebTroll
Sound: Polo "Manolito"

Many thanks go to Marc, Johny and Cavalera Conspiracy, Annabelle, Karine and Roadrunner Records and Roger for his precious help at the press area.

PS: we know that the sound is not perfect but we're working on it and it should be better on the future interviews!

They seem like laid back, down to earth guys. Good interview Jeff.

Johnny Chow looks a bit like me! I want to start a band with him called Beard Conspiracy!

That was killer Jeff, great interview. Hopefully I would be able to help you out next year, if I can come back to France during the right timeframe.
iaberis - 19.09.2008 at 15:05
nice interview but you got to fix the sound... I can't turn my volume to the max to listen to it :/
Jeff - 19.09.2008 at 18:33
@Iaberis: Jupi is working the next interviews and it should be really better. Polo, the sound engineer at Hellfest is also working on the Cavalera and Mayehm, we will probably re-upload them later!

@Olivier: I hope that you'll come with us next year !

Thx for the comments btw, 22 other interviews will come too!

im loving this whole video interview deal. keep it up!

good interview jeff, good to hear that cavalera conspiracy is actually a band and not an anti sepultura deal.

This interview sucks, but it's not Jeff's fault, other side blew it. The only thing that Marks says is "yeah, it's pretty cool, great stuff, you know", damn it's pointless...
