23:20 - Lit. Ihsahn doesn't do much better. Drumming really sucks, too. Painfully meh song.
23:08 - .starrk @Unhealer: except for the fact that Serj completely ruined the song >_> Ihsahn's voice fits perfectly, then you have Serj's abomination hastily thrown in
22:56 - Jiri jrir is carlelkessly tyling to emul[atge ba dendlgish.
Equilibrium had just played their first ever U.K. show at the Bloodstock Open Air 2009. I got the chance to have a chat with a couple of the band.
A full review of Bloodstock Open Air 2009 can be found here: Day 1 - Day 2 - Day 3
Equilibrium played on the third day.
Many thanks to Helge and Manu for their time, and also Adam Sagir for arranging it.
Conducted and edited by Barry Anderson, recorded by Richard Anderson.
The sound isn't perfect, but it's the best you're going to get.
There was a lot of background noise, there always is backstage at a festival. As long as you can understand it, that is all that matters.
There shouldn't be any constant noise. If there is it is either youtube's or your fault.
Besides doing really great music, the band seems to be very cool.
Helge Stang is very talkative and I have the impression that Manu Di Camillo cannot place one sentence. I know that Helge Stang is the frontman and he holds the microphone during the shows, so he could lend it to the other members during the interviews .
More seriously, thanks for this interview Barry and good job.
