Witchery are just about to release album number five, "Witchkrieg" along with their new vocalist Legion. Guitarist and main songwriter Jensen and I managed to have a little chat about the band.
Thanks to Jensen for his time.
Conducted and edited by Barry Anderson.
Recorded by Rachel Muir.

I am soo psyched about the release of Witchkrieg.
Baz, u said u have listened to the album?! You said its 'good'. Was that for Jensen's benefit or for the rest of us who want or are going to buy the album?! |

| Wasn't really for anyone's benefit - it is a good album. |

Nice interview, I agree, and I do like to see bands talking about stuff outside of the studio a bunch. So good call on the approach for this interview as well!
Mr. Anderson, if I run into you at all ever, you got yourself a round or two. Promise! |

Good interview as usual, Baz. I always liked Witchery.
My favourite part of the interview was the 'Swedish sound or American sound' disagreement - you didn't take much persuading to go with his opinion instead! To be fair, I would probably be too polite to argue about it too!
The new song on their myspace site sounds pretty good. The new vocalist has a slightly lower register, compared to the original vocalist who was more shrieky. |

Hahaha, well I didn't feel it was my place to say - it wasn't like I have studied the album or particularly felt passionate about what I heard. I probably just thought it would be best to get on with the rest of the interview. |
