Lately I'm becoming the king of the Demos and unsigned bands, is all I review lately, and why is that? I don't know, is so much fun to discover new Metal bands, maybe give them a positive review, and month later, found out that they have a record contract, is like watching a child grow, and the fact that you maybe helped them with the record deal, is overwhelming, but in the other side, is not so easy being an unsigned band, you have to finance your Demos and other material, you have to send promos and if you got bad reviews all over, that's gotta suck!

So as you might have guessed we have an unsigned band here again, this time is Deforge from Italy, and they're offering us a Technical Death Metal attack, some influences of Trash Metal here and there, but overall this band has the Swedish sound all over.

I got to admit it, I'm not a big fan of brutal Death metal, or Technical, I'm more of a Melodeath guy, but surprisingly I liked this one, compositions are very ingenious, the sound is quite original, despite the obvious influences. Songs like "Immortality" and "Germinate" are really worth listening to.

The production is ok for a Demo too, no complaints on that department, the artwork could use some work on future releases, but first let's get this guys a record deal, because I'm sure that their whole potential shall not be revealed to us until their first full-length. I'll place my bet on these guys.
