This quartet from the grey, raw and chilly England really surprised me, mostly because they play their Death Metal in a very promising way, not because of they're putting Hardcore into it.
But they are a very potential band, that's no doubt of, they just have to use it in the right way, and so they do, on some parts of this Demo-E.P. I got here in my hand.

Bloodshot Dawn was formed in late 2002 by James and Josh (wild guess or Not), and with influenced like Arch Enemy, Shadows Fall, and Pantera I think you have a clue how it sounds like.
The E.P. contains 6 track, 6 quite different tracks, some more Hardcore alike and some more against the Death Metal (The way I hope they will be walking).
I really think they could, in some years, with some more experience, really fight for a record deal, but before that, they have to choose in what direction they will turn, to the Hardcore or the Death Metal.
Both genres is really overfilled today, but I guess all genres are, but I'm sure they can, if they will go on with the same spirit, really get a contract.

As a Metal fan, I don't like the hardcore side, but that maybe because I'm more for metal, and the Metal in this E.P. is very well done.
So more of that guys, and less Hardcore, and gain some experience and you'll be ready to knock on some records companies doors.

So that's my tip for you guys, more Death less hardcore (I believe that you guys listen to it, but I find you better as a Death Metal act) and some more experience.
But still, it's a very well done Demo, and it's worth checking up, if you want something new to your collection, because I think these guys will go far in their musical career.

Favourite Songs: I find joy in every song, but mostly in songs like "Sleeping on the Bed of No Mercy" where the Death Metal is shining strong, mostly in Vocals.
